usually when humanity invents something that required lots of iteration to get right, you can say "well it's easy to cherry-pick the famous disasters, nobody talks about the ones that worked fine" but the list of "All Zeppelins Ever Made" is short and the "Didn't Crash/Explode" list is even shorter

they're VERY cool and visually striking though, I cannot deny this much. I guess maybe in a world where folks learned to shoot lightning out of their hands they ALSO figured out how to make blimps that don't spring a leak or catch fire when you look at them funny.
