Why are you behaving as if the MBTA, along with any issues that are related to it, has always been on your radar? You only began talking about the T when you heard me doing it. Of course, you have never acknowledged that or my concerns. As a constituent, I do not count, just like Lisa did not count.
Now through April 16th, join a series of public meetings or submit comments for the proposed FY 2027-2031 MBTA Capital Investment Plan.

The comments received during the CIP public engagement process help the MBTA better understand which investments the public would like to be prioritized.

I think about countries like Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea, which are actual regimes. I then chuckle at your word choice. Still, I appreciate what you do and what you share.
Had to come up with something to call a govt that breaks the law, murders its own citizens, wants to prevent fair elections and is an embarrassment on the world stage. I've been using it for awhile now.

There's a UHub version without any regime stuff, though: www.universalhub.com/nofederal

I think that distinction belongs to Mejia and Murphy.

Flynn and Meija are the perfect representations of the empty posturing that is the worst of the City Council. No ability to do anything so they just throw sand in the gears and look for a microphone to speak into about how nothing gets done in the city.

Another day, another load of nonsense from the Boston City Council.

I trained as an attorney with a background in human rights. So, I weighed the arguments of both sides of this latest bone of contention carefully.

I agree with Council President Breadon and company without reservation.

While I very much appreciate the outstanding efforts of the different individuals that work to keep the City of Boston functioning in exceptional circumstances such as this, I do not need a behind-the-scenes look right now. Presently, I need the streets & sidewalks cleared.

You seem to prize having access to elected officials. Hopefully, you value the community that you purport to advocate for even more.

P.S. Elected officials are not celebrities. They are public servants.

Councilor Murphy’s mother is surely no consultant. However, it was maybe thought that paying family members would appear more kosher if services were bought, hence the birth of the “consultant” firm.
P.S. Her mother is supposedly a retired judge. Why am I having a hard time believing that?

#bospoli
Councilor Erin Murphy @ErinforBoston paid her mother $77,985 in consultant fees since 2022. And then she bought a $700 thousand dollar house this August.

Her mother is not a consultant and the Consulting Firm she operates out of her house, Schola Consulting, is not registered.
