Finally some decent news today for Espresso. It’s been 4 days since we found her close to death and with a huge trauma.
We found out she has a broken rib. So we now know it was a physical impact of some sort. Lots more sleeping and rest. Starting to get hopeful for her 🙏

Here’s something a bit wonderful, it’s a British native orchid called a Bee Orchid. It’s not rare, although there aren’t many around so I was chuffed to find it. It resembles a female bee we don’t have in the UK so it’s self pollinating here. Also “bee” so right up my street 😁🐝🌼😍

Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Olaf. We only had him for about four years as he was eight years old when we adopted him. I couldn’t imagine a sweeter, gentler giant of a good boy or a fiercer protector of his family.
