Reads like a Citizens' Council newsletter bragging about how they got a black school principal fired.
Today, the Heritage Foundation, the org behind Project2025, took credit for driving Lonnie Bunch out the Smithsonian Institution.

Bunch was the first African American and first historian to serve as head of the Smithsonian.

But sure, tell me again how it’s not about racism.

2. The song was “Travelin’ Through” for “Transamerica”, written for a movie about a trans woman, and the thing that struck me at the time and even more in the 20 years since is that she explicitly frames it around Christian imagery of transformation and grace. Bold in the Bush era, even bolder now.

When you appoint reality TV people to the most important positions of the government running massive federal agencies, don’t be surprised when they treat the job like a reality TV show starring themselves while we pay them and the expenses.

Good morning. Just a friendly reminder that Ghislaine Maxwell is currently protected, enjoying pampering and puppy time while America's service members are forced to drink diseased water, eat rotten meat, and huff air infested by mold. She does yoga while they choose drowning.

Clancy and Crichton were never classed as literary fiction. Genre fiction, sure.
Men's declining interest in literary fiction is in no small part because Tom Clancy and Micheal Crichton are dead
I don't have, like, a ranked list of contributing factors to the decline of men's interest in literary fiction, but I'm pretty sure none of the top ones are addressed with a "fellas, try the romantasy" admonishment.

USAID was the logistical backbone of many, many NGO’s. When Musk killed USAID he took out the warehouses and distribution centers blocking the distribution of food and medicine. You can’t flip a switch and turn on infrastructure that took decades to build.
