studying to become a teacher
I learned about a great online resource for teachers who would like to develop their own text book gathered from different resources. It's called ck12 and it was developed to help provide education resources at NO cost to teachers and parents.

During our last #EDTC300 class we dove into PLNs (Personal Learning Network). What is a PLN? Cruise Slater (EDTC300 instructor) says a PLN is a network of resources, contacts, and tools that support ongoing learning and professional development.
It was a great day for learning!

Here is a useful tool if you are learning the Cree language or need to find a word in Cree. This site can convert words from English to Cree, or from Cree to English. They also have different dialects!

During my internship, I had the opportunity to learn a tool called UFLI that teachers used in their classrooms for the primary years. The program helps to improve literacy outcomes for students. Click the link to check it out!
