8-hour battery storage is operating in Australia and more is coming!

This 50 MW/400 MWh battery plant is a key piece of tech to reach nearly 100% RE.

That is up from 48% in December 2024.

BEV were 35% in 12/2025, compared to 25% in 12/2024.

Good morning with good news: Solar & wind will skyrocket to 37% of China's electricity in 2030 from 18% in 2024.

Add 13% from hydro and China is 50% renewable in 2030.

Add ~5% nuclear and China is ~55% non-fossil fuel electricity in 2030.
