- Broken Pieces -

Memories of yesterday,
In my mind
A place of empty promises.

All that is remembered,
All that is seen,

Is an image of
Broken pieces.
-
An old traditional piece I had drawn inspired by childhood & growing up in a broken home.

#SaniArts #memories #childhood
A young girl wearing a white shirt and purple shorts clutching herself while staring down at a broken vase of blue and white. Her face is hidden in shadow, the shattered pieces resembling something broken in the little girl and her life. Dark shadows of brown and yellow beat down on her as if to swallow her up.

About a month later since my injury, I’m starting to get back in to working out this painting. My body is feeling better, thankfully, though I can only work on art for short amounts of time before I need to stop & rest.

But I’ve found a sky palette I like :)

#NiGHTSintoDreams #SaniArts
Work in progress of my NiGHTS into Dreams painting. The screenshot shows a night starry sky with dreamy clouds and a luminous moon. The corner of NiGHTS’ jester hat can been seen in the lower left corner.

Almost have the composition figured out so I can then focus on painting it all in. I think picking apart all the little hurdles you run into while building up a concept is one of my favorite parts of the creative process.

Placing tiny ideya :)

An old 2016 speedpaint celebrating the Giant Panda recovering from endangered status thanks to joined conservation efforts.

However, the warming climate & habitat destruction still puts these giants at risk. Hopefully, we can still ignite change to preserve the life around us. 🐼

- Ungrateful -

You have what matters.

A family that wants you.
Friends that stand by you.
The ability to create. To see. To live.

And yet… Why so empty?

Doesn’t that mean anything to you?

... Don’t be so ungrateful.
-
Old ballpoint pen sketch of ruminating on my own unhappiness.

#SaniArts
Ballpoint pen sketch of a character with empty eyes and bandaged torso. The heart is cracked, signifying the feeling of brokenness within. They hold small paper people that shower them with praise and love. But the character seems dissatisfied by all of the good they have. Crushing the paper people or showing indifference. How can one be so ungrateful and yet have so much?

Gosh. I REALLY need to draw some fanart of The Amazing Digital Circus 🎪 🫧 It’s genuinely a fantastic show and I have so many feels 😭

Crazy to think it’ll be over this year - It’s been a rollercoaster of an experience. #tadc

I’ve finished Spring semester this year so I’ll be able to return to making artwork soon :)

My new computer is setup and I’m almost done re-installing all my programs and tools. Slowly, I’ll get back into the flow of things.

Happy 2026 everyone 🫧

2025 was a challenging year for many. Yet we always happen to persevere.

I feel very worn down, yet have a greater sense of direction for myself moving forward. Thank you for your kindness & patience as I find my bearings.

Let’s continue.

A drawing done years ago attempting to capture the feeling of trying to hold yourself together, despite everything about you falling apart.

The fragility of your mind cracking under pressure, trying to resist the desire of shattering, allowing yourself to break.

#sketch #mentalhealth #SaniArts
Mixed media sketch of a woman, naked and twisted up into herself. A glaring green eye stares out at the viewer with a second above in red and blue. Ink spills from her eye, a hand clawing at her face, hiding herself. Dark hair is sprawled out around her with her head framed in aqua colored glass. A damaged pierced hole is located where her mind is, the glass cracked and under strain to break into collapse; A representation of her deteriorating mental state.

More old artwork featuring my favorite characters from the Soul Eater series at the time.

Death the Kid. Crona. Ragnarok. Professor Stein.

This was my first time trying out Copic markers.

#anime #SoulEater #fanart #SaniArts
Traditional marker art of Death the Kid from the Soul Eater series. His expression serious as he poses with his pistols, the Thompson twins. Traditional art done of Crona from the Soul Eater series. They smile upon their attacker after having been sliced, bleeding black blood and wielding their weapon, Ragnarok. The personified weapon, Ragnarok, from the Soul Eater series displaying his crudeness in flipping you off. Traditional marker art of Professor Stein from the Soul Eater series. He appears to be mentally unstable, slipping slowly into madness.

Re-sharing of some Enderman doodles I had done a while back, playing with a blocky brush.

My favorite Minecraft cryptid ~🌷 Kindred spirits really. Lovers of dirt, makers of strange noises, & good at disappearing. They are friend shaped :]

#Minecraft #Enderman #gaming #SaniArts
Various doodles of an Enderman. These include a some full body shots, an Enderman content with a dirt block and flower, an Enderman with an umbrella in the rain, and a small sequence of an Enderman asking for private time to a Skeleton mob. A lone Enderman has found a lovely cube of dirt and asks in its own way for the Skeleton to leave, so it can enjoy itself on a moonlit night.

Here are some of the stages I went through while coming up with an illustration for the zine. Since I was charged with making the cover image, I felt I needed something to include the main cast of characters.

I want to do some of the dropped ideas later :)

#SaniArts #sketches #fanart #SRMTHFG
Thumbnails of some of the ideas I was thinking of for the zine. The initial sketch for the final idea I chose that would suit a cover image. During Phase 1 and 2, I wanted to change up the posing of Skeleton King. The second check-in for the zine where we needed to have a set idea. I was still trying different arrangements for the characters at this time but was getting closer to the final.

Last year was the 20th anniversary of a little cartoon called "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce GO!"

Fans came together to create a zine to show our love for the show. This was my contribution. It was an honor to participate & reconnect w/ other fans :)

#SaniArts #HolyShuggazine #illustration
Full-color illustration featuring the main characters from SRMTHFG! The upper half is a colorful splash of light with Antauri (black) looking over his team. The Super Robot (left) stands guard as a protector with Nova (yellow), SPRX (red), and Gibson (blue) ready to defend against evil. Otto (green) in the distance jumps excitedly towards adventure. Chiro (the boy) channels the Power Primate to take on any threat. The main villain, the Skeleton King (bottom) smiles wickedly as his cloak swirls around encompassing the Hyperforce and the planet Shuggazoom behind.

Throwback traditional art of Undyne from Undertale nearly 10 years ago. I still really like this one. A friend of mine now owns the original.
