My therapist wants to begin EMDR therapy.

Has anyone ever done that before? What was your experience?

Learning how to be gentler with yourself is hard when you've spent so much of your life punishing yourself for things that were beyond your control. My sense of self has been so distorted for so long, I've never really known who I am.

But hopefully, through self expression, I will find my way.

Recently, I have been diagnosed with CPTSD, having been in therapy for most of the year. As such, I've been reflecting much about my life experiences & how they have shaped me.

It's quite miraculous how our formative years can leave such a strong imprint on who we grow into; For better or worse.

I was diagnosed with CPTSD earlier this year. While I’ve had my suspicions, it’s both relieving & upsetting news. I’ve always had a hard time just… living & being a person.

I’m learning to heal.

This is why I love community college. I have the freedom and flexibility to take as many classes I want, when I want, and whatever subjects I find interesting.

I basically pursue education for the sake of the knowledge itself, not necessarily for a career, feeding my various curiosities.

Yeah, I love SAI for drawing. It feels the most intuitive and easygoing compared to others softwares I’ve tried.

I recently got a new computer & I forgot to save all my brushes 😅 so I gotta remake new ones when I get the chance.

Almost have the composition figured out so I can then focus on painting it all in. I think picking apart all the little hurdles you run into while building up a concept is one of my favorite parts of the creative process.
