The fact that we are not treating a white supremacist paramilitary openly occupying public transit and public streets in DC as an actual national emergency is absolutely fucking insane.

The legal arguments for Trump's birthright citizenship executive order are vapid and embarrassing. Multiple lower court judges legit laughed DOJ lawyers out of the room. The fact that four Supreme Court justices twisted themselves into logical pretzels to buy it is a constitutional emergency.
The Constitution Is On Life Support
Four justices are prepared to stuff the Fourteenth Amendment’s promises in the garbage because Mister Trump demands it.

Call me crazy but probably the first step of Project 2029 should be "Reverse every part of Project 2025 and encode it all in law"????

Shouldn't that be the bare minimum???
Dems' "Project 2029" first major policy proposal: an online child safety plan — narrowing Sec. 230, banning social media for kids under 16, promoting phone-free childhoods and more. Already backed by Cory Booker, Mikie Sherrill, Randi Weingarten + Jonathan Haidt.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Are the algae vandals in the room with us, sir?
Trump: "The United States Park Police have arrested multiple individuals for vandalizing our Nations magnificent Reflecting Poll. Who would do such a thing? These are very serious crimes having to do w/ the destruction of National Monuments. Years in jail! Work will begin immediately on its repair"

If the president throws a tantrum when he's pressed about his lies about election fraud and walks away from the interview, your response should be to remind your viewers of all the ways in which those lies were dismissed by the courts.

Not promise to give him a do over after he's had nap time.
And then she ends by saying she spoke to Trump and set up ANOTHER INTERVIEW.

This is why I’ve lost all respect for the cringing complicit corporate media. Spineless. Pathetic.
WOW - Trump crashes out & cuts his interview w/ Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged

"You're either crooked or you're stupid. I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her"

"I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads

The principal intelligence advisor to the president, responsible for overseeing 18 intelligence agencies in a cabinet level position I'm repeatedly told is absolutely imperative to prevent another 9/11, is a man whose chief credential is being heir to a homebuilding empire.

The last 10 years have been nothing if not a continual exercise in lowering expectations but, my God, I would, at this point, give anything on earth to just simply not be living in the stupidest timeline imaginable.

this is the closest I've ever come to actually suggesting a "one neat trick" suggestion for anything, but I'm so serious here. the Virginia Constitution gives the legislature the power to set retirement ages for judges "REGARDLESS OF THE TERM TO WHICH ELECTED OR APPOINTED." make it 54 right now.
How Virginia Democrats can overturn the redistricting ruling: Retire the Supreme Court
The state Constitution gives lawmakers complete latitude to set the judicial retirement age. They should use it.

You really need to read this to appreciate how deranged it sounds. The standard view that judicial warrants are necessary to forcibly enter residences is blamed on “subversion” by “deep state actors.”
As far as I know, this is DHS's first effort to explain their position that I-205 forms allow entry into the home. They rely on the dicta in the 1960 Abel case (before Payton) and re-imagine the plurality opinion in Lucas as if it were the majority (and then overrely on it).

Also, guess what gun ICE issues to it's officers? That's right, the same Sig P320 Pretti was carrying.
From the NY Post. You know they are really scrambling when they are running "The gun was no angel" stories.

Had limited access to my phone all morning. Came back and reviewed multiple videos of the killing of Alex Pretti.

It was an execution. He did not pose a threat. He was on the ground and his gun was taken from its holster by one officer. Then he was shot multiple times and killed by another.
