First heard about 9/11 from online news. BBC I think. I was working in UL. Headed down to the Stables and watched the whole thing on TV along with a lot of other people. I remember exactly who I sat beside. There wasn't a lot of talking tbh. It was very hard to process at the time.

Clip the basket back on, cycle home and bring the basket in to put away said groceries. It has a waterproof cover and a mesh cover so it's ready for all kind of weather.
It's the little things nowadays that bring bits of joy throughout the day.

So I got around but it wasn't pleasant the hills in 4km-7km were tough. Ran the whole thing but a slower pace.
The cup of tea with Jaffa cakes were very welcome when I got back to the community centre.
5 weeks to the next one. Better start training properly for this one!!

- this is true.. but I normally have an 8 or 9k in my legs a week out.
I know this one will be hurt (the route has some nice hills), I'll take easier and keep HR steady. I have one in Oct and another in Dec (1 week before the big day) where I hope to be in better condition. Hope all is well!

The 2 goals from Cork hurt but the wides from Galway were the difference in the end.
