Oh dear. You what have you become BBC.

What my dad would have made of it as an editor on radio and World I have no idea. Perhaps it is a good thing he departed this mortal coil two years ago today.

Very sorry to hear of the death of Mathew Jukes, loved his enthusiasm about wine, first heard on GLR Breakfast with @figlover.bsky.social and @gidcoe.bsky.social . I always rated his suggestions. Far too young, still in his 50s. My condolences to his family and friends.

This is really good. It doesn’t quite say this, but Liddle made his choices, & within a certain media context and an evolving one spinning into a racist and hateful direction that rewarded & distorted aspects of his personality. History is replete with such grim transformations.

Thought that initial question to Tim Bentinck - David Archer - about Patricia Greene's death (Jill) was uncaring m from the normally brilliant Katya Adler on #r4today #thearchers. Well done to Tim for turning it round. Such sad news

This is all very valid, but the author has a huge problem, and listen very carefully, I shall say this only once, we all know it is not E Leclerc, it is I Leclerc.
I thought I'd do a big post on some of my favorite French supermarket finds, thinking that would be less work than sharing a recipe but it turned out to be quite wordy. Please do have a read in preparation of your next visit www.dorothy-porker.com/things-to-bu...

What is the probability these both appear in one programme?1) 42% 2) infinitely improbable..

And as I type, infinitely improbable mentions of infinite I probability and towels.

I fact I should probably get out of this bath..

I really think the UK need to move a drilling rig to make some noisy obtrustive oil exploration at about 55.3077591, -4.8488643, as long as it wouldn't get in the way of the big beautiful windmills, err sorry wind turbines, in the area.
