The ‘British values’ brigade in action.
A couple of takeaways from this. a) The elderly chap with the walking stick seizing his opportunity for glory, then crashing out never to be seen again, is a perfect metaphor for Reform. b) If I’m ever violently mobbed by Reform’s core demographic, minus security guards, I quite fancy my chances.

The HBO miniseries "Chernobyl" is a bummer but my gosh it is a masterpiece. I think it's one of the finest depictions I've ever seen of the horrible domino effect that can be set into place by a sclerotic bureaucracy.

Young Frankenstein is as funny as we expect a Mel Brooks comedy to be, but it’s more than that:
It shows artistic growth and a more sure-handed control of the material by a director who once seemed willing to do literally anything for a laugh.
It’s more confident and less breathless.
