Here’s a question: what’s the ‘buy it instead’ for a Tesla if you’re trying to get someone to do this? Gotta check the following boxes:
-roughly equivalent price point
-equivalent infrastructure in terms of chargers, etc
-same aesthetic appeal

I've seen these talking points being repeated by even nominally liberal friends. These are just unprecedented times; we really do need a long term approach for tackling misinformation (and national press isn't up to the task)
