"...one of our major parties revealed that it will not step up even when its leader threatens unthinkably
massive war crimes and even genocide."

@gregsargent.bsky.social keeps saying it and I think that statement is the most important (and depressing) truth to come out of this whole debacle.

I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.

This is a big one. A newly uncovered document has revealed the existence of a mystery Epstein investigation. It was spearheaded by the DEA and involved drug trafficking and money laundering. Epstein was one of 15 targets. The other 14 names are redacted. I've got questions.
Senator calls for DEA to provide info on "incredibly disturbing" Epstein drug investigation
Federal drug enforcement investigators targeted Jeffrey Epstein and 14 others in a yearslong probe first reported by CBS News.

The people who cancelled Jimmy Kimmel after Charlie Kirk's assassination will now control television stations that reach 80% of Americans, twice that what was legally allowed before Trump's takeover.

The state capture of network television is almost complete.
The Trump administration has approved the acquisition of 9NEWS' parent company, TEGNA, by Fox31's parent company, Nexstar.

Nexstar issued a statement praising President Trump, who says the deal will "help knock out the Fake News." Nexstar has declared itself "the anti-fake news"

Secretary Rubio's remarks indicate that Israel put U.S. forces in harm's way by insisting on attacking Iran. And the administration was complicit—joining their war instead of talking them down.

This is unacceptable of the President, and unacceptable of a country that calls itself our ally.

The House may vote on this voter suppression bill TODAY. Anyone who changed their name - talking to you married WOMEN - could find themselves unable to vote. Prior version passed with the support of 4 Dems — Reps. Ed Case-HI, Henry Cuellar-TX, Jared Golden-ME & Marie Perez-WA. Do your thing. Call. 🙏🏻

The House could vote today on the GOP’s new voter suppression legislation modeled on the infamous SAVE Act. This series of bills would end registration by mail and add new ID requirements that could prevent millions of eligible voters from registering. Make sure your representative hears from you.

I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them
What a moment.

The Obamas are brilliant, compassionate and patriotic Americans. They represent the best of this country.

Donald Trump is a vile, unhinged and malignant bottom feeder.

Why are GOP leaders like John Thune continuing to stand by him?

Republicans must immediately denounce Trump’s disgusting bigotry.

It’s hard to put into perspective how truly massive the warehouse is that was recently sold by the Rockefeller Group to the Department of Homeland Security for $70 million to build a concentration camp in Surprise, AZ. Across the street is a huge neighborhood and a school. It’s 400,000-square-feet.

It’s interesting that some people can’t vote for a woman president bc they worry she would be “too emotional” to handle the job, yet they think Trump is a strong leader even tho he has the emotional and impulse control of a 5-year-old.

Says more about those voters than it does Trump.
