Okay... So, basically it's gonna be Alien vs The Antichrist then?
Folks, remember when Geoff Hinton called gpt-2 humanity's caterpillar and gpt-3 humanity's butterfly or something like that?

Also remember how he said radiologists were gonna be obsolete in 5 years (but he said that ~10 years ago)?

Ok now, he says ChatGPT is an alien being.

Last week, the media fell hook, line, and sinker for an unbelievable grift when former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon said he was quitting the industry over fears it was moving moving too fast, though he never really defined what that meant.

Once you understand the corporate culture of AI hyperscalers is everyone cooking their brains by locking themselves in the bathroom, holding flashlights under their chins, and saying "Aaaaaaaaaay Eyeeeeeee" until they wet themselves in terror, things snap into focus:

I cannot tell you what absolute fiction this is. AI is heading for a crash and this cackhanded Terminator narrative is being engineered to save them. The fact that the unsubstantiated testimony of a former employee has been the top story on BBC News all day is absurd and irresponsible.

That would be $10.36 - $10.85 for a gallon of Euro 95 (E10) (unleaded gasoline) at the pump in the Netherlands right now. 🫤
I paid $5.50/gal for 93 octane. $50 to fill the tank. It's all that idiot Trump's fault.
