The rust eventually got her but my 1983 300D Benz was the best car I ever owned. Easy to work on, plentiful replacement parts and reliable AF and got surprisingly good fuel economy for being a car with mechanical fuel injection 22-26MPG city 30-33 Highway. Plus no car payment 😭

I managed to get OG Rome Total War working on Linux. The battle map and campaign maps are totally fine and everything works except for the video sequences and the menu looks like this for some reason. 🤣

It works when it wants to because the power button is kind of jacked up, and I haven’t really tried messing with it
This particular model isn’t even super ancient this one’s from 2001

Why 4 monitors? 2 are for my personal PC, one is my docking station and the smaller one on the left is for my Linux server.
Unfortunately it goes Hot AF in here ever since my landlord had the trees trimmed over it 😭

Getting it to turn on as the difficult part. I’m not entirely sure what’s causing the issue and I haven’t pulled it apart to diagnose it yet. Mostly because I have absolutely no experience

I even have one of my old CRT is hooked up to my PC and I can watch old movies with the proper way. Of course you could do this with any program, but I just felt like showing it off.

I don’t have any of that fancy stuff. I run Jellyfin and Tailscale servers from a wired connection. I just use an old OptiPlex I rescued from the dumpster and a 500 GB laptop hard drive. I’ve salvaged from my old college laptop.

I installed RedStar OS in a virtual machine just for shits and giggles. It looks like a clone of macOS using KDE, can’t really use it because I don’t know how to read Korean and you can’t change the language to English lol
