I'm not sure how widely known this is, but Bungie made the entire original trilogy of Marathon games (developed for Macintosh) available as open source, and a group of fan developers created an engine called Aleph One to run them in. They are free on Steam: store.steampowered.com/developer/al...

The doom 2 tracker music community pack mod goes pretty well with Going Down Turbo.
I played maps 1-5 the other day and, map 6-24, including secrets 31 and 32 today.

The funniest/most enraging part about “we could use AI to solve the climate crisis” is that we already KNOW how to solve the climate crisis, we just don’t want to do the work. So the same billionaires who screwed the planet are hoping some magical machine god will give them a different answer.
