This is such a scoop. For many reasons, including: Trump had made a couple of comments about Omar in the first term, but neither she nor Somali Americans were a Trump obsession at that time.

(But Somalis _were_ a Miller obsession.)

Trump officials scrutinized Omar in 2019. They didn’t find citizenship issues.
The earlier review of Omar’s immigration records looked at many of the same issues being investigated now.

Ho boy, do I have a story for you. The question of how ice breaks has been central to glaciology for well over a century.
Didn't know this was especially controversial. Unsupported vertical ice obviously has a structural limit, determined by the distribution of internal fractures, especially ~vertical ones. Vertically fractured ice becomes a column crushing problem.

Details are what's not known, and consequences?
I want to talk a little bit about this new Science paper led by star student Caroline Needle, Catherine Walker and myself. The idea goes back to this controversial new idea called the marine ice cliff instability.

So as y’all probably already know, Trump has a new blonde, Katie Zacharia. She claims to be an attorney, and apparently has been doing so for some time. But while she has a JD from Pepperdine for sure, nobody can seem to find any jurisdiction in which she has been admitted to the practice of law.

Looking forward to the same scrutiny being impartially applied to Elon Musk and Melania Trump, whose immigration documents are much much worse than anything alleged about Omar's father
When Dems talk about the Ilhan Omar situation, they need to stop using language that implies that Omar might have done anything wrong.

Trump is not "investigating" Omar. They are trying to denaturalize and deport a sitting Congressmember by scrutinizing decades old paperwork from when she was a kid

It's far worse. An AI company can FORCE (seriously) a family in a town where they want to build a data center to accept shares in their company that they can't sell for 5 years. Same for any company (tobacco, firearms, porn, etc.)
