Wow. Congressional hearings like this are always full of attempted gotchas and grandstanding, but this is the most incompetent questioning I have ever seen.
I was listening to a discussion about AI and one argument was people don't want data centers, but also want to use ChatGPT on their phone. Nope, not me. If the only way to access LLMs in my personal life was via subscription, I simply wouldn't.

OWL UPDATE! I went back to the place where I saw the crashed juvenile great horned owl and spotted two juveniles in that exact same tree. Looks like the crash victim made a full recovery! Yay!
