Afternoon all! Rather belatedly, it's the result of the #Sundayvote across Bluesky and Insta, and it seems your winner was number 1....

No pics this week but hopefully back next week - in the mean time I hope you have a lovely Easter!

Absolutely thrilled that my monotype and drawing ‘Communion’ 1 has been selected for the Peirson and Peirson Contemporary Art prize & exhibition in Plymouth.

Woot!😁

The landscape is inspired by late light through woodland. The trees are at Norsworthy Bridge at Burrator Reservoir.

A young family in summer gear wandering in the fog on high North Dartmoor was my own realisation of this growing issue. In the Alpine countries you pay for rescue, and insurance covers it, IF you are not "negligent". We may be reaching a crunch point in our own more liberal approach.

Dartmoor is magical and this beautiful photo captures it wonderfully.
One more Dartmoor shot, if only because this looks like something out of a Lord of the Rings movie. This was taken in about 60 minutes of sunlight at the end of what had been a relentlessly rainy day.

Dartmoor is England's last true wilderness, and receives millions of visitors each year. It's easy to see why - Dartmoor is beautiful. From the annual Ten Tors event for school kids, to the Dartmoor Classic sportive, to smaller events like Dartmoor In A Day, to just casual visitors and families having a picnic, Dartmoor caters to all. And therein lies the problem.
