The European Parliament on Tuesday approved a report creating an EU "Democracy Shield" to better protect elections from foreign interference, passing it 420–220–26 in the plenary.
A reminder: this contributes to Europe's #deindustrialization and makes it harder for European economies to support taking a greater share of the overall defense burden.

Colour me still sceptical of the idea of an European Security Council, but the emerging Wider Europe of Security bringing together the EU, Canada, UK, Norway and Ukraine would be an important step forward:

Colour me still sceptical of the idea of an European Security Council, but the emerging Wider Europe of Security bringing together the EU, Canada, UK, Norway and Ukraine would be an important step forward:
