Firstly, it is highly unusual to see any solidarity in MSM, let alone US corporate media. They might sense a weakness here. With midterms coming up and Trump's disapproval ratings worsen, the GOP needs to reach non-Trump loyalists through the usual channels. They won't be watching Trump TV.

(Maybe. If so, I'd point to a common mobilization of alumni- and beyond- against the damage that Trump is causing. But, that's a multi-edged sword for universities.)
