The United States is actively helping Putin murder civilians in Ukraine. Trump is doing everything he can to force Ukraine to surrender to his friend and ally Putin so they can be subjugated by the Russians again.

Trump’s worldview is that it is good for evil to prevail and wrong for the righteous to resist.
Trump sounds genuinely upset that Putin didn't defeat Ukraine in one day, which he insists Russia could've done had their generals not taken "a wrong turn"

Helping Putin at Ukraine's expense doesn't make America safer.

It emboldens Russia, undermines our alliances, and risks encouraging other autocrats to believe that aggression pays.

Standing with Ukraine is both the right thing to do and in America's national interest.

Putin has incomparably more influence in the West Wing than he has in eastern Ukraine. Indeed, his only hope in eastern Ukraine sits in the West Wing.
The last time Trump criticized Putin was July 31st 2025, 443 days ago.

The timing of Trump's full betrayal is honestly baffling. He knows the midterms are going to be very difficult for his party and that most Americans support Ukraine. The logical thing to do to boost his standing would be to increase his support for Ukraine.

Instead, he does the exact opposite.

Of course, Trump will never impose any significant sanctions on Russia because he supports Putin and Russia against Ukraine and Europe.
All lobbying for this Russian sanctions law was a meaningless endeavor.
Congress should instead have given Ukraine arms & funds
