Look, there are a lot of things to hate about Americans, but the overwrought reaction to the halftime show clearly demonstrates that apparently every soccer fan outside of the US is a pretentious asshole.

World Cup host cities are expecting collective shortfall of ~$250M. Host cities were expecting more attendees, but that didn’t materialize and now taxpayers will foot bill for upgrades, security, and logistics. Call it the Dummy Effect.

So, I don't watch soccer at all. One thing you notice is that the body types of the players are far different than for the traditional sports in the U.S. Much smaller and leaner than even baseball players these days. Just an observation.
