Agreed, and would also posit Wet Winter is worse than Wet Fall.

McDonald's has also previously done Pride related social media posts, I'm not sure this indicates some big social shift as much as liberal influencers may posit.

this shane gillis character being on the SNL stage saying what he said is proof that Cancel Culture is bad.

therefore i posit that going forward Loss of Functional Jaw Culture would be a better philosophy

I'm not saying that this necessarily inures to Democrats advantage. Surely as you posit, many just despise pollsters and don't want to help. But voters are shy when they think they are in the minority (as colored by their own bubble). I've yet to see Trumpers admit this even when they lost.

I posit that they are, in fact, different stories

one is the use of state violence to threaten someone who's been under threat for her entire public life and the other is posting
The Omar story today and the Talarcio story yesterday are the same story of rat-fucking your opponents before an election. Except now the government does it, out in the open.

So I posit that they would just be, like, fine with a poltergeist. Jaheira showing up to find Tanis and Minsc casually watching their furniture levitate around, doors slam, etc. Jaheira asks what’s going on. Tanis replies “oh yeah that’s our house sitter. They like interior decorating”

“Collective action toward whole-system trust can serve as a practical foundation for improved health outcomes and more equitable participation in the benefits of science, medicine, and public health," Victor Dzau et al. posit in JAMA.

Whole-System Trust in Science, Medicine, and Public Health
This Perspective from the National Academy of Medicine discusses the concept of a whole-system model of trust in science, medicine, and public health, involving coordinated action across sectors to improve communication, community engagement, and access to information.

Huge thanks to Barret Schloerke, Carson Sievert, Joe Cheng, and the entire Shiny team at Posit for their support and mentorship!

It was a great experience turning everyday research challenges into open-source tools that others can use.
October 12, 2026 at 6:51 PM
I also gave a talk at Posit on the challenges in scientific workflows and how better tools can address them.

Excited to share my latest blog on Posit Open Source!

During my internship, I built 10 apps and 5 computational biology packages using R, Python, Shiny, and Shinyreact to make scientific research more accessible, especially in rare diseases and cancer.

The thing about people who don't wield their bigotry is that they're not wielding their bigotry. I posit that this is Good, and that it doesn't really matter if they are Ontologically Evil on the Inside, a place where we are not.

I get where she's coming from, but it is ridiculous to posit that this should be at the top of the list.

(Actual corruption, such as has been demonstrated by Trump & sons, however, would rank pretty highly)

One could make the same argument for Blade Runner. Philip K. Dick saw early rushes for the film, and he loved them. But the finished film's philosophy is 180º from Dick's themes, which posit that robots are robots & human beings are human, and never the twain shall meet.

I posit these supercomputers as the source of most fraudulent accounts on social media. All platforms.
3/ These were not ordinary server rooms. Yandex runs cloud services & develops AI. Its Sasovo facility houses 2 of company’s 3 supercomputers used to train YandexGPT. Strikes disrupted online services and damaged infrastructure important to Russia’s digital economy.

I would posit that ICE has less oversight as well and can respond more directly to these dictates without as much oversight. Though I don’t disagree.
