The crystal structure of a coplanar Schiff base, synthesized via solventless maceration, was determined using X-ray diffraction and analyzed with Hirshfeld surface and QTAIM-C calculations to elucidate inter­molecular inter­actions.

In the title disordered co-crystal, C—H⋯Br hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules into centrosymmetric dimers, enclosing R22(16) ring motifs.

The title compound, which exhibits disorder over the terminal tri­fluoro­methyl and methyl entities, is close to planar with the r.m.s. deviation for the non-H/-F atoms being 0.038 Å. In the crystal, the mol­ecules are linked by N—H⋯N inter­actions into a [010] chain with a C11(3) motif.

The crystal structure of a pyrazole chalcone is reported.

Despite the facile inter­conversion of its conformers in solution, 4-benzyl-1H-pyrazole adopts a chiral crystal structure (space group P21). Its 3,5-di­amino derivative, however, crystallizes in the centrosymmetric space group P21/c. In both crystal structures, the aromatic moieties are organized in alternating bilayers in which they stack in parallel columns in two orthogonal directions, and the pyrazole units form catemer motifs by N—H⋯N and N—H⋯π hydrogen bonding, respectively.
