A 5 mile transect walked the length of my island home yesterday was surprisingly productive for @wildflowerhour.bsky.social material - though no shocks until the very last, a Sea Pink running extraordinarily late in the year.

Purple milk-vetch looking very beautiful amongst the birdsfoot trefoil at Teesmouth this week. Also a Euphorbia that is presumably an escapee amongst the dunes - toadflax-like foliage. Cypressae?

Orchids from North Gare, Teesmouth last week. I assumed they were all Common Spotted - I still think the white ones are but the others have shorter central lobes so could they be Heath Spotted? Or hybrids with Marsh Orchids?

#Wildflowerhour I think this is Cow Parsley, Anthriscus sylvestris: bracteoles are oval and pointed, leaves are finely cut and the stems are furrowed. Happy to be corrected. Path edge Tintern, Monmouthshire. #WildflowerID Thank you.
