When I first started sculpting I was very resistant to using rake tools. They are so counterintuitive. “Whaddya mean you add ridges to smooth it out?” Now they are probably the most important tool in my arsenal. They help you find forms and explore planar shifts.

I actually have a #workspacewednesday for once! I snagged a pack of these frames at my favorite craft reuse shop a while ago. I've sanded the flash and given them a stormy, mottled blue violet paint job. Now to decide which bugs and flowers for them.
