peakbaggers (especially in colorado) also chase elevation based lists, such as the 14ers (peaks above 14,000ft), 13ers, 12ers, etc.
Historically, the 14ers list was curated by the Colorado mountain club, based on whether peaks had names, and some subjective qualities.

I believe all 14er summits you can see other 14ers from. I cannot think of a summit I have made where I could not see at least one other 14er. Does this answer your question?

I go on wanders not hikes. I love to mosey, stop and enjoy the views, have a tasty sammie in a beautiful spot. The whole thing is the adventure not just the tallest peak. After 7 14ers I can say the scenery is prettier to me where the flowers are.
