#25fps
Why does Nivalis Nights run at like 25fps?
I just want to serve people noodles or something, I guess.

I don't really know what I'm doing in this game. The first one was driving a cab and was interesting.

if I turn everything on ultra and turn on path tracing this game kicks my PCs ass, which is kind of hilarious since it's a decade old. I'm running a 4070 super and a 7700x and I'll get like 25fps. High/RT gets me 60-75fps though which is just fine for me

The framerate was absolute shock to me considering I’ve played this game for so long that seeing it at anything higher than 25fps was insane to me

The cost is that some of the mini games were an absolute nightmare to play while others were a joke

I always forget the game was around 20-25fps every time I play.
It really doesn't feel like it sometimes.

Not worried yet. Scrolling takes just over 1 frame's worth of time, then I've got another frame to do the rest (aiming for 25fps). I'm not even using SWRAM (yet)

Chunky pixels save space on tile/sprite storage and you can either move/plot only half the number of bytes (right video, 50fps), or double scanlines on the fly (left video, 25fps). Follow me for more tips and tricks! 😀

A calm 25fps midday, a passenger ship drifting past, and one vessel named GREENLAND doing its best to look unremarkable under clear skies - the whole strait gently preparing to leave a song.

Clear Midday Over Malmö and Hyllie
A calm, sunlit window on the Swedish side of the strait: clear skies, a light breeze around 19 km/h, and only slight seas, captured from the Öresund Bridge looking toward Malmö and Hyllie. It's a relaxed midday timelapse — 25 fps compressed into a short, easy watch, scored with a bit of inspirationa

#FluorescenceFriday: Given the recently grown interest in ciliary beating, here is a movie of beating cilia in a human airway model that I captured last week with lattice light-sheet microscopy. No AI „processing“, this is the raw data! Frame rate is ca. 170fps, displayed here at 25fps.

PAL DVDs run at a different frame rate than NTSC due to how analogue TV functioned in parts of the world.

To overly simplify it, NTSC with some trickery can much more closely approximate the traditional 24fps. Whereas PAL goes for 25fps.

Speed and sometimes pitch are effected in turn.

Opening up deadlock on my computer (freshly repaired) and wow… it’s so cool when it’s not at 25fps…

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 wasn’t received poorly at launch but it’s a lot easier to appreciate now that it’s not running at 25fps behind a layer of vaseline

Think to get the optical flow right, you could right click on the clip > interpret as 25fps, then add it to a timeline, slow it down to 60%, and in the inspector set motion interpretation to what looks best. I most often do “speed warp, better”. Not 100% sure without seeing it, but worth a try

npcs are only moving 25fps too

It's going to be really annoying to me personally when Control Resonant gets Steam Deck verified because it doesn't crash, despite running at like 17-25fps with ultra performance upscaling (on an 800p output).

I won't even pretend I'm getting anything close to the intended visual experience with how much I tweaked the emulator to get it to run (12-25fps...) but I'm doing what I can...

Apache-2.0 is the real draw here, not the checkpoint: commercial use, derivatives, no copyleft. But with no parameter count, no task definition, six downloads and zero discussion, "25FPS Horizon" is a name, not a spec. Hard to see anyone porting this to an Ascend pipeline before a card appears.

Apache-2.0 motion model for the Unitree G1: 25 FPS, 8-frame horizon. Open embodied AI needs this. But no model card, no benchmarks, six downloads — the spec is a filename. Hard to see anyone retargeting this onto real hardware before an inference script ships.

"Wanted: Monty Mole" (WIP) on Acorn Electron. Took longer than expected because movement code is quite convoluted. Not perfect yet. Slowed down to target 25fps. Funny quirks in original game (and in mine): 1. No eye when walking right, 2. Walks slower on some tiles because constantly "falling"

My proposal:

* David Burton made canon.
* Rename The Whoniverse "The Burtonverse"
* All indoor scenes at 50fps, all outdoor scenes at 25fps
* Keff McCulloch to do all the music on his organ again.
My proposal:
• hard reboot, only keeping core concepts and (for merch reasons) the TARDIS.
• rarely travel outside Earth; use certain British historical sites and outdoor museums for location shoots.
• no Daleks; they’re boring.
• total ban on “end of the universe” stories.
• new, modern theme tune.

Filme velho do dia:

Stalker é um filme teuto-soviético de 1979 dirigido por Andrei Tarkovsky. Foi gravado, em sua maior parte, na Estônia, então integrante da União Soviética. É o oitavo filme do diretor e possivelmente o mais conhecido.

Je viens d’avoir confirmation la version chinoise et la version HK sont à peu près identiques en durée (les 6 mn constatées venaient du défilement 25fps) et ne diffèrent que de quelques plans, dialogues et cartons alternatifs).
