One of our friends had been a fully remote federal worker and is now leaving the house at 4:45a four days a week to work a 4-day/10-hour schedule, with two hours of commuting, because his wife works Monday nights and he otherwise can no longer do dropoff/pickup of his elementary school-aged children
He just told two and a half million people they can’t work from home any more
