Good question. I tried to vote earlier this year and recd this:
“As an overseas elector you are entitled to vote at Parliamentary elections only. The election on 7May is for Essex County Council, so you would not receive any voting papers this time.”
As I never lived in Clacton, I gave up.

I think many Scots Labour supporters voted #SNP on 7May to keep oot #Reform from Scots Gov
At next GE they will vote #Labour to keep Reform & #Farage oot of Number 10. Also we'll know by then how effective #Burnham is as #PM, & how successful Devolution of #GlasgowCityRegion has been.

Folks change their votes as circumstances change. It's just my opinion but priority for left of centre folks, is to keep #Reform out of power in Hollywood & Westminster.I did my bit on 7May to achieve that goal. In 2029 I'll use my vote to keep out Reform ruling UK. Burnham gives #Labour & UK hope

I don't think they would win them all but they could easily win more than half. If they had 230 seats then they would either form a government or make it very difficult for anyone else (probably a coalition) to govern

Many voters in #Scotland rejected #Labour because of dithering Starmer over winter fuel payments & 2 child benefit cap.

Fair enough, I know and understand not everyone will agree with what he's doing, I'm just saying what we picked up from voters in Scotland during the Scottish elections last month, in my opinion Scottish Labour would have won more seats if Burnham was leader of the party.

They will get fewer votes next time. They got only 17 list seats they were expecting 26 including constituency wins. Scotland is nothing like the East of England where they have their biggest following. I thought Shetland’s rejection of Farage was class.
