FanGraphs always does a great job with this. They have Trevor Rogers deservedly at No. 3 and predict an AAV of $24 million, per the median polling of staffers.

But Griffin really does look like a discount Trevor Rogers. The velo is even lower and the stuff is a little worse, but the profiles and projections are otherwise quite similar. He's 2 years older, but it's not out of the question you could get 90% of the production at 50% the AAV and fewer years.
