There are three perfectly good Burbank AMCs for that!
Niche LA skeet: It's ridiculous that It Was Just an Accident is only playing at the AMC Century City, a totally fine theater but not really where I go when I want to consume world cinema in a thoughtful atmosphere.

Might be one of the rarest AMCs around. Not only did they not make a lot, but unlike the AMC's special edition muscle cars, few people seem to have saved these.

a fun activity is checking to see how many tickets have been sold to the melania documentary at your local theater this weekend. across the 12 showings friday-sunday at mine, it's five tickets total.

Actually the Pacer would generally be considered the least obnoxious of the AMCs. Also doubled as a greenhouse, so there's that.

AMCs differ from "pull funding", where governments, pharma companies, etc. fund research groups at the outset, not knowing which will succeed, and using high prices to recoup R&D costs.
Instead, AMCs are a fund for the drugs that succeed, and involve a commitment to a low price per-dose.

Nothing against the MCU stans, and I will be seeing the movie myself, but Spider-Man occupying 68 showtimes tomorrow at one of our local AMCs (many not even remotely close to full) is the a prime example of the peril of studio saturation at the multiplex level.
