CME confirmed, main bulk doesn't appear Earth-directed, though it's difficult to determine atm. If AR4274 keeps this up... are we heading for a situation similar to May 2024? Keep watching 👀

Solar flare/CME alert:
An M1.8 flare peaked at 07h10 UT 07 Nov. Type II and type IV radio emissions were observed, indicating the release of another CME from AR4274.
As AR4274 turns more towards Earth, CMEs will start to have more geomagnetic impact.

Following an M7.4 solar flare from active region AR4274, the U.S. NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a G3 (Strong) geomagnetic storm warning.
A wave of charged solar particles is expected to reach Earth between Thursday night and Friday morning

Active Region 4274 just unleashed an X5.1 solar flare - one of the strongest of the current solar cycle! ⚡The flare was associated with another full halo earth-directed CME ☀️ This AR keeps on giving!

Two Earth-directed coronal mass ejections from the Sun are expected to arrive tonight(ish) and predicted to hit Class-G4 tomorrow evening, thanks to an X1.2 flare unleashed by the AR4274 region on Sol.
Thanks to Earth's magnetic field we'll be safe.
But there might be .. AURORAS!

L’évènement semble violent et rapide, on attend plus d’images, mais ça risque d’être bien sympa pour les aurores si c’est bien orienté !
