We make our homes secure by locking doors etc But what if your fear is someone close to you? We all deserve to feel safe in our own home. If your home situation is harmful, it's important to reach out for help.

It’s very difficult to realize that someone that loves you would hurt you, but then it’s even more difficult to have to realize they didn’t really love you.

If you don’t care about what your child was literally created from and care about them knowing that and their family, history, and heritage - then you don’t really care about the child. That’s not being a parent - that’s being an abuser.

If a parent has been abusive, regardless of whether it’s physical or emotional abuse, they have removed their title of ‘parent’ and their title now is ‘perpetrator’.

I heard a story recently of a famous father that would throw a mattress in the yard if the bed wasn’t made and throw a visiting friend’s shoes in the fireplace if they were left around. That’s not ‘parenting’. It’s not teaching ‘responsibility’. It’s abuse.
