I see the same thing from the other chair. Most of my work is with insurance companies. If I tell an adjuster a claim is worth somewhere between two and three million, he doesn't hear a range. He hears two. The three is gone the moment I say it.

this doesn't fix your problem but it is a way to get Around your problem: for my older baggus I clip my keys to a carabiner (that locks) and then hang my keys off of the carabiner outside of my bag (typically off of the adjuster)

I have been an insurance adjuster before and I’ve had to deal with these claims… I have seen people be calm, cool and collected, but I have also seen people become enraged😭 there’s no telling how somebody’s going to react to seeing their car damaged when it was just sitting there parked

It's not just a comparative thing. I know a mortgage adjuster in Germany and he says private home construction is essentially dead right now because of the high rates. He's only giving out loans for like multiplex rental construction projects at the moment.
