Finally built one of the last models on my 2k admech list. Thulia Ghuld, a tech priestess of war. This sculpt is insane. Praise the Omnissiah

The protagonists actually spend a fair bit of time wandering it intact. We are mostly following military characters but we see civilian life, a surprisingly evocative depiction of an AdMech facility & the priests in charge, etc.

Then the villains pull a reverse Holdo Maneuver on the ships in orbit

They're the ones from the pteraxii, most of them are made from rebuilt pteraxii (the turbines cut from the wings and attached where their back arms connect) just with 3d printed heads and weapons from other admech kits

Eogunn... he hovers, he has mechanical insect legs, and his bare feet are just hanging out the bottom of his robe. Huh. You'd think... Admech... I mean, I guess he's Biologis, so maybe more into the flesh.

to get certain details. For AdMech, for the chicken walkers (dragoons and ironstriders), I found it easier to paint the rider separately and then glue them on afterwards, but it's really not the biggest deal.

That's about all the advice I got, just do what you feel is right in the given moment.

"What is this? An offering ? For me ? I am flattered, but I fear it is in vain. My soul was consumed long ago, and this necrodermis body remains hopelessly cold... I believed no kiss could ever breach my eternity. And yet, at your touch, my circuits are racing... If only... "

The "Problem" is that all models I currently own/am interested in are AdMech and Imperial Knights, so I think I can neglect learning to paint flesh for now haha. But it's still a great idea to get something to try out stuff on, I'll see what I can get from my friend who is downsizing his collection.
