Viking hacksilver hoard discovered near Hedeby! Arjen Spießwinkel reported find to ALSH, who worked with Schleswig-Holstein Detector Group to uncover.
Finds: dirhams; ingots and jewellery (inc. a frag of broad-band arm-ring?); and a cross (www.archaeologie-online.de/nachrichten/...).
