Here's two pieces of #Alshark artwork the 1st being used on the cover of the Japanese #Sega #MegaCD release and the 2nd for advertisement. This might be the work of Akihiro Kimura since he's the game's character designer. Removed logos/text (1st piece) applying the usual combo.

I hope we'll get some official English versions of Right Stuff and Glodia RPGs. Emerald Dragon is the big one, but there's also Alshark, Zavas, Vain Dream, the Alnam games, and the semi-related Anearth Fantasy Stories.

I've been debating, when I try streaming, trying out doing one of a few PC88 or 98 games that I've been interested in... No English translations so I'd be using my phone to translate text as it comes up, but doing something like Alshark or Libros de Chilam Balam seems really fun.

This reminds me: I'm not sure if ANY games from Glodia and Right Stuff's catalogs have been reissued. I don't see any digital re-releases for Emerald Dragon, Alnam, Flash Hiders, Terraforming, Vain Dream, The TV Show, Alshark, Zavas, Fiend Hunter, etc.
Emerald Dragon is a story- and character-centric RPG from 1989, with a killer revamp in 1994 for the PCE CD. A hybrid battle system and character design different from better-known works of the day by Square, and a reminder that the west's idea of the evolution of Japanese RPGs is an incomplete one

Emerald Dragon used to re-release all the time. Let's go back to that.
