Not this time. There’s a private group of spike-high anglocatholics on FB which has been scraping content from other church & clergy pages to make snide remarks about liturgical practices they consider insufficiently reverent –often without the owner’s knowledge, & definitely without permission.

It was a beautiful Palm Sunday. Our bishop for her first time was a celebrant outside her annual pontifical visit. She’s a great bishop with a beautiful voice. I got to read the Words of Christ in our passion reading. We processed with the Blessed Sacrament but I failed to get a good photo. 😔

I always catch myself saying the Nicene instead of the apostle's when I do my rosary. It's the struggle of being alone for rosary (the south doesn't have many Anglocatholics who meet up to do it) but hearing the Nicene every week.

After reading an 800 page book about the articles from the POV of anglocatholics, I grew a real appreciation for the articles and the way they make you really engage with aspects of the faith. Even if some of the articles are ones I dont agree with or like, overall I think its important.

My opinion that most annoys other Anglocatholics is that I prefer the KJV Psalms to the Coverdale
As Anglicans, we stick to the Three Cs:

also like at the church I go to there's charismatics and anglocatholics and deep-book research post-baptists and folk in the Lewisian mold so it doesn't really seem to fit with the Big Church Capital E Evangelical monoculture churches I tend to think of when thinking about church cultures
