65 #IrishRevolution #PoliticalPrisoners held without charge launched the #CorkHungerStrike in 1920 on #ThisDayInHistory. All but eleven were shipped to England. Of those left, #MichaelFitzgerald and #JoeMurphy died. The rest held out for 94 days, until #ArthurGriffith intervened.
