A friend pointed out that I was subconsciously mimicking this movie that is nostalgic 2 me, so I had to exploit that angle and this turned into a Whole Thing. Enjoy, I guess.

🎃 Halloweek posting continues
#Astarys Halloween costumes started as spartan warrior + classical Greek goddess vibe…but then I ended up putting wings on him, hence Nerys laughing her ass off at the cheek of him playing an angel. But then…

Nerys in Ancient Greek-inspired armor giggling at Astarion’s costume, but he’s unperturbed, claiming it was the only thing he could think of to match hers. Um this took forever so. Idk if anyone wants to, but since I did on Instagram, why not #tavqotd! I think I’ve seen it before but not for awhile.

What ship dynamics represent your OC/LI? I picked some existing and made some up, you know I love the memes

#portfolioday the #nsfw edition! looking forward to experimenting more with bt3 now that there are better options. It used to frustrate me to tears to even try. Since I have space I’ll plug my writing too, which tends to be character focused and smutty: archiveofourown.org/users/thepal...

#portfolioday I guess…I’m better as a writer but most people don’t care about that I think so here’s some #bg3vp. I fear that #vpfight made my portfolio rather Gale heavy, lol. More Karlach soon. I think some of my best stuff is not sfw because all hail healthy sexuality 🙌 but I’ll post it separate

“My, aren't you touchy this evening. Well, I have other plans for you," he replied succinctly, waving one clawed hand. "Ones that require significantly less clothes." Nerys' throat worked as she swallowed. "Astarion, I don't think—" "You think you know better than I do what's good for you," he interrupted, voice gone dangerously soft as he leaned over her, hands flat on the wall behind her. "But you're wrong, Nerys." Predatory green eyes lifted to meet his, that caged animal looking back at him. She said nothing, merely stared. This was a gamble. They hadn't engaged in this particular kind of play since before his confession about trying to manipulate her, before things had shifted so dramatically between them. There had been chemistry between them back then, but they'd still been wrestling for dominance. Since then, they had kept things considerably softer. But he knew Nerys. Knew what she craved when she felt monstrous, out of control of herself…like a beast. "Clothes off," he demanded, daring her to disobey. She was still for a long moment before she relented, keeping her eyes on him as she unbuttoned her camp shirt and lifted it over her head. Then shucked off her trousers. As usual, she wore no smallelothes. He stood still for a beat, raking his eyes down her body. Lean, powerful muscle, the swell of her breasts with their dusky nipples...those thick thighs he liked so much. Nerys reclined on the bed, her muscles still tense. "I don't see how this "Ah-ah." He drew his dagger and pressed the flat of its blade to her lips. '..helps," Nerys finished faintly, eyes widening. "I told you, you don't need to," Astarion replied smoothly. "I know what you need." He ran the flat of the blade over her cheek, and her eyelids fluttered. "Don't I?" The question was a loaded one. They had established a safeword long ago, of equal use in and outside of sexual intimacy, although he was its most frequent user. He was offering her the chance to use it now.

Beautiful work by @bonniesgate.bsky.social as always to illustrate my #durgestarion fic, I Apologize If You Feel Something. Finally braving posting them, I’d love if you gave it a look 🫣 First two chapters up now: archiveofourown.org/works/926996...
#NerysOC #Astarys #Astarion #bg3fanfic
It took him a moment to see through the competing light sources to ascertain that the tall woman was actually crying. Not silently, either, the way he did when he absolutely couldn't restrain himself; her breath was coming in great gulping sobs, and shudders wracked her chest. What the hells? This woman grew more baffling to him by the moment. She made no attempt to wipe her face, letting the tears slip down her chin and drip down her neck. A strange thought intruded-she was beautiful, in her way. He hadn't really noticed before, other than noting her striking eyes. Not the way he was beautiful, of course, but there was something oddly compelling about the sharp angle of her nose, something graceful about the curve of her cheekbone beneath a ripple of white hair the wind had plastered to her wet face. Why he was noticing this now, of all times, when she was blubbering like a wounded owlbear, was beyond him. "Please," Nerys said faintly, her voice gone hoarse. "I have the most awful feeling clawing up my throat. I need help." Her head drooped forward as she groped for her sword. Astarion's nose crinkled. Who in the sweet hells was she talking to? "There's something very wrong," the drow went on, "with...with me. I don't..I can't remember..." she squeezed her eyes tightly shut for a moment. "Whatever...whatever compulsion grips me, I cannot hold back on my own." Nerys throat worked as she took up the sword in both hands and then drove the sword decisively down into the earth, both hands gripping its crossguard. Oh, for fuck's sake. "Goddess, hear me. Whatever your aid might cost, I will pay. I put myself in your hands, Sarenrae. Only deliver me from this torment." Her chest was heaving like she couldn't breathe. Not only was she praying, perish the thought, but she seemed quite mad. But perhaps he could work this to his advantage, somehow? Doubt crept up Astarion's spine.

This fic is narrated from both Astarion and Nerys’ perspectives. I’ve written about 5 chapters of ~20 so far.

Astarion smirking at Nerys, a strong body type drow with white hair and blue facial markings wearing silver armor, as he holds a dagger to her throat. Astarion snarling at Nerys, a strong body type drow with white hair and blue facial markings wearing silver armor, as she struggles to her feet after headbutting him to wrestle out of his grip. The way she'd looked at him when he'd had the knife to her throat had almost made him drop it. It was the look of someone who would lean into the knife to drag their attacker closer. Almost a dare. It scared him, if he was honest. And yet there had been something magnetic there, too. Something that made his mouth go dry. Above all, his impression had been that she was absolutely the kind of person whose shadow he should be lurking in if he hoped to stay alive outside of his master's lair-but who knew how long she'd last? Nerys was the kind of woman he'd never take for a mark; there was too much defiance in her gaze, and something sharp...he'd usually been more careful than that. Gone for the ones with eyes soft and unfocused from drink. Or the ones who lit up when they saw him like he was a piece of candy they wanted to snatch. He shuddered at the thought, feeling phantom fingers close around his waist. Now, though, his metrics for a mark were a bit different, he thought as he snuck a glance up at her while pretending to focus on mending his sock. She was oiling that ridiculous greatsword she'd gotten off the devil on the nautiloid with meticulous care, her brow cragged with concentration. His eye followed the ripple of muscle beneath the dark skin down the back of her arm as she worked her hand over the blade, just able to catch the fleeting impression of freckles there before she turned her head. Astarion's eyes skated away, a haughty expression painted onto his face. Of course, along with the intriguing persona and the muscled physique, Nerys had also made five decisions by the time they made camp that were reckless if he was being generous, and stupid if he wasn't. So perhaps despite his fears, he would be able to manipulate her quite easily. He certainly hoped so. To be honest, he found it all rather thrilling, given the intoxicating feeling of being free.
