One thing that is worth observing again: note how many of the polls and graphics you see about this election don’t have *any* mention of Asian Americans, or relegate us to a mysterious “other” bucket. We were overwhelmingly part of this blue wave, but are never even covered as part of the story.

its crazy to see someone who is a BIPOC creator say that a person’s race/ethnicity doesn’t effect their growth or opportunities. i have often thought if i was a cishet white woman i would be much farther than i am and i hate that but thats the reality of navigating these spaces as a BIPOC creator.

22 queer election winners, 8 of them are bipoc, 6 of them trans/nonbinary, many of them firsts for their positions and firsts ever for their state. Several states turning blue for the first time in 26 years. I feel a glimmer of hope for the first time in my adult life really.
