Ok, so, No Man's Sky just had a huge update and it's cool and awesome and then the reddit becomes deluged with "but what's the point of [new mechanic]?"

and I'm like, my sibling in the Atlas, you are playing a game. The only point is to have fun.

A light novel and manga publisher contacted me saying they are entering the "general fiction" market and asked my rates.
I told them, but I'm not expecting a response.
Good luck competing with Penguin, Hachette, Harper, and all the other publishers of "general fiction" in translation, though.

A friend of mine works in AI and thinks bad things are about to happen. He sold his home and moved his family out the country. He said that if you own a home in a walkable San Francisco neighborhood near a taqueria with good veggie options, you should sell your home for super cheap right now.

I see this and immediately want to go to USJ. This and Nintendo Land. I contain multitudes.
At USJ's R-18 horror attraction, everything goes in a locker first. Not just bags: phones, hats, and watches go in, too. There are no restrooms inside. You put on a numbered gown and enter as a numbered subject, not as part of the group you arrived with.
Universal Studios Japan's First Adults-Only Attraction is Such a Scream, It Requires a Waiver
Exactly what is it about this year's Halloween event that requires a waiver and an R-18 rating? Psychological horror and legal liability.

Listening to SHIKI by Sigh, and as a bonus getting some Japanese listening in via brutal extreme metal vocals that are surprisingly decipherable. Absolutely love these avant garde metalheads, and this might be my favourite album of theirs. A LOT of good ones to choose from.

I have known four people who got folding Samsungs and everyone single one broke at the bend well within a year of buying. The replacements? Also broke! Because when you keep bending plastic, it breaks!
For anyone thinking about buying a $2000 foldy phone, know that we've had those in Korea for years. You can only open it a certain number of times before it breaks forever, and on a new model that number is going to be very low.
