In other, slightly more positive news, I got autofire working on my little BMC64 build and also installed the other systems (C128, VIC20, Plus4, PET) it can emulate. It’s absolutely glorious. I made a video about it today, too.

Inspired by @retroguybry.bsky.social's BMC64 build, but needing something in the "weekend project"-class, I've started the KC63: a keyboard computer powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero 2, which will emulate either an Atari ST or an Amiga. My emu army grows!

Recently I started learning Basic because I wanted to add a Commodore 64 computer as part of my #retrocomputing projects so I got some Keycaps to go with it my self made #BMC64 computer.

I think you can also connect the original peripherals and cartridges. I don't buy it for now because I have 2 originals and a BMC64. And I'm waiting for my ZX Spectrum Next. 😅

I'm messing around with a raspberry pi zero running BMC64 (a Commodore 64 emulador that runs w/o an OS), and I just wanted to try running the audio output from the GPIO PWM pins but I can't find any way to make that work lmao

Once I've "bleached" or resprayed the case, I want to start with BMC64, a "bare metal" fork of VICE's C64 emulator for the Pi with an IO PCB for connecting an original keyboard and the joystick ports. Paired with a mechboard64 or blingboard I can have a pretty great Commodore experience.
