1/9 Tonight's game of #WW3TeamYankee vs @britishbersagliere.bsky.social. 80pts, Encounter with a British Berlin Brigade Chieftain Squadron facing off vs a Soviet BMP Battalion. Mike won the "Attacker" roll.

Follow below for the blow by blow.
My plan was to push my BMP-2 Conpany's infantry up the centre and seize the objective whilst their BMP2 guarded the left objective. Mike's force. He got the Fox painted up so they were. Late addition. A pair of F-4G stood in for the Harriers. My force. I originally planned to have a recce platoon of BMP2 but I had ran out of BMP1/2 hulls! BMP3 are a touch out of period but needs must.

2/9 Turn 1 and I won the roll for first turn. It saw the BMP2 score some early kills vs the Fox platoon with 30mm automation fire.

Mike moved the Chieftain up, one getting caught up trying to cross a chain link fence, fouling its tracks. The remaining two tanks and Fox killed a BMP2 each.

ミサイル無しでも装甲車を4ｋｍ先から撃破出来る機関砲の使い勝手が良く、素敵
そんな強力な機関砲ｳｿだぁと調べてみたらBMP2（装甲車）の機関砲らしいので納得、
ATGMや空対空ミサイルも充実し強いのですが、アップデートにてコンピューターがモジュールに追加、そこが壊れると兵装がすべて使用不能になるので注意！

Apparently the BMP2/3 stocks are getting pretty thin so they're facing down more wheeled IVS like the BTR-82 which is pretty well armed but not terribly well armored.

Another cracking battle with @leeparnell.bsky.social this evening. A shakedown in prep for a tournament he’s in so we took it slow and went over some obvious stuff that’s often overlooked. 90pts Breakthrough Team Yankee. Lee with ANZAC me with Soviet motor rifles.

Setup. My BMP2 force deployed and rushed forward down the road. My T72 swung wide around the downed B52 and shot at the Leopard commanders in the open and wildly missed. The return fire from the the ambushing leopards was punishing and ripped my T72 to bits. T72s about to be absolutely chewed up Sergeitov leads his BMP motor rifle company onto the objective. I was flicking fire all over the shop here with spandrel missiles streaking out and taking down the leopards with some very lucky rolling on the bottom left of shot. Meanwhile the infantry pushed up to the fast food restaurant My reserves arrive with a full force of BMP2 infantry and layed down a large amount of fire. With Kalashnikov teams and 30mm cannon laying it on, 5+ firepower tests were the order of the day and I was getting very lucky! By clearing the Aussies off the objective, and thwarting a counterattack, I managed to secure a victory, albeit it *heavy* losses. Still, you can’t make an inlet without breaking 10,000 eggs a day.

4/9 Turn 3 and the first reinforcements arrived, the BMP1 Company moving on to reinforce the left objective. The 76mm guns tried to kill the last Fox but failed. The BMP3 moved up to shoot the Chieftain and missed.
The Chieftains didnt and all 3 BMP brewed up. More Chieftain arrived on the scene
Start of turn 3 Turn 3 saw the BMP1 company move on, reinforcing the objective and the beleaguered BMP2 The BMP3 use their ability to move and fire their AT-10 ATGW to... miss all three of their shots... Needless to say, that was sub-optimal. An overhead view of the stand off. The HQ BMP2 was killed in turn 2 when it strayed into view of a Milan. The infantry company bailed an Abbot on the way into the assault but got pushed back by defensive fire.

So close to 2000 bmp2. Currently at least 500 bmp2 past what was tagged as in storage by Military Balance 2022 (which while unreliable, likely would have erred higher than reality instead of lower based on other counts) before factoring any "unknown" visually confirmed losses and undocumented losses
