#Berryden
Transphobic Christmas card in my local Sainsbury's (Berryden).

Please do better Sainsbury's.

This evening's sky (ended up walking along beach, through Seaton Park, popping into B&M then going to Berryden Sainsbury's!)! 😊 #aberdeen

Just back home, here's my Tesco shopping (plus bonus Berryden Sainsbury's shopping on my way home!)! 😀

No beach walk today, although I still walked up to the Berryden Sainsbury's. 😊

(As previously posted, takes same amount of time to walk to Sainsbury's and Asda in Garthdee area as it does the Berryden Sainsbury's, even though Garthdee seems nearer!)

Decided to walk to Tesco on the other side of Aberdeen again this afternoon.

Also popping into Berryden Sainsbury's (had a voucher I wanted to use) and Home Bargains on my way home. 😊

Walked up to King Street from other end of beach and then up to Old Aberdeen & popped into Berryden Sainsbury's on way home.

Interestingly takes around same time to walk to Garthdee (which I usually visit on Friday) and Berryden, their two big stores in the city!

(Well I find it interesting 😂)

This week's Friday evening Sainsbury's shopping! 😊

(Decided to go to the other big Sainsbury's in Aberdeen this week for a change. As this evening proves, takes same amount of time to walk to either Garthdee or Berryden stores!)

Another photo taken during my beach walk. Walked up to King Street and then Seaton Park (then up to Berryden Sainsbury's and home) rather then going back along beach again. 😊

More photos from my beach walk, walked up to Long Street (rather than back along beach) and through Seaton Park - and picked up a few bits and pieces from Berryden Sainsbury's on my way home. 😊

same! always think of berryden as closer, but it’s actually about the same

They hang about Sainsbury's at Berryden or Asda at the beach and wait for folk to buy meal deal then swoop in an' steal the boiled ham oot o' yer sandwich. If yer unlucky they just take the hale sandwich.

More specifically - this cheese. The Sainsbury's at Berryden here in Aberdeen is the only place that still seems to sell mozzarella in huge non-briny blocks, and even then they sadly no longer do an own brand version. I literally cannot find it anywhere else in this city.

If any of my #Aberdeen #DoctorWho friends are interested, the big Barnados charity shop at Berryden Retail park (next to Matalan and Mecca) have a number of Doctor Who DVDs for £1 each. They are on bottom shelf. 😀

This week's Friday evening Sainsbury's shopping (popped into the Berryden store on my way home)! 😊

Hidden Aberdeen Tours marks the 82nd anniversary of the 1943 Luftwaffe raid on 21 Apr, following the path of the bombers through Bedford, Elmbank, Berryden and Broadford Works.

A sobering and fascinating route through residential Aberdeen.

It's an area of Aberdeen. Cornhill Hospital is technically in Berryden, and is named after the road it sits on, not the area.

It's especially for Christmas, although still selling them. Garthdee Sainsbury's seems to be only place in Aberdeen that sells it (not even Berryden store sells it) 😀

Went to the big Tesco while at the other side of Aberdeen (they have stuff other supermarkets don't sell).

Also popped into the Berryden Sainsbury's and Home Bargains on my way home. 😊

Garthdee is probably the one that seems closest for me, however probably takes a bit longer as a bit further up than Asda.

Shopping at Berryden one also has bonus that don't see it in distance while walking there, as less of a straight line to get there. 😀
