I lived in an area where a large settlement of Vietnamese refugees settled and they loved America. There really wasn't that many until a few years later.

I have less antagonism toward robots than unembodied AI. I know, it's silly, but I was raised on the Robinsons' Robbie, and The Bicentenial Man, and Twiki, and C3PO / R2D2, and Twiki / Dr. Theopolis, and... you get the idea. Even now, I want a Codsworth or a Curie to flit about my house.
