As a 15 year old, riding my bike ride in the woods near my house at mach 2. Some other kids had dug a ~2m cliff into the track for daredevil reasons. I Wylie Coyote'd it, screaming in terror. Landed it, but my feet came off the pedals and I landed groin-to-bikeframe and then ploughed into a tree.

It took longer then usual but this is me modelling the "gele trui" or yellow jersey I was knitting to cycle in. In the background there is the interior of s caravan. Rich Victorians liked to collect exotic plants. You can still find them all over Cornwall. I don't know what it's called but the leaves are larger than my bikeframe. The same plant from close up. You can see it's flower. Between it's giant leaves. The good old Dawes Galaxy, a.k.a. de blubberbukfiets. All packed and sacked.

This and there's no standard location with a standardized interface to fix something like that to a bikeframe or seat, so did they expect teams to figure that out themselves...?

I got let loose on a bike frame one morning for charity!

XOBikes are an initiative local to where i grew up who train prison leavers to become bike mechanics, decreasing their chances of re-offending whilst teaching them new transferable skills.

My father in law plays golf. He owns 3 clubs + a putter and made his own golf bag with a torn backpack + safety pins. And he bikes to the 9 hole with the clubs bungee corded to the bikeframe.
He is punk rock af (beatnick technically I guessss)
